Moody Monsters Birthday Card

 

 

This cute card features the "Moody Monsters" set from Whimsy Stamps.  I really love these funny little monster characters for creating an adorable 5"x 7"birthday card.  

I used the "Half-Tone Comic Stencil" with a selection of Distress Inks to create a colorful but subtle 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" background panel.  All of the little monsters were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Copic markers.

The "Selfie Die Set" was used to frame three of the images.  I cut the three selfie frames from some scraps of colored cardstock from my stash.  The remaining two little monsters were cut out using the coordinating  "Moody Monsters Outline Dies" .   All of the sentiments that I added are from the "Simple Sentiment Strips" clear stamps.  After arranging all of my images on the background panel, I adhered it to my purple 5" x 7" card base.  For a bit of bling, I added a scattering of little shimmery stars from my stash.
