Autumn Greetings

Today I am sharing 3 cards that I made using the October Monthly Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp.   I am sure this kit is already sold out because they are so popular and this one with the beautiful fall colors probably went faster than most.  So this is for those of you who need inspiration for the kit or just need an idea for a autumn card.

This first one is quite simple using a the Paper Smooches Stitched Dies  for some fun details.
Everything else for this one was included with the kit.  The only exception being the brown ink I used for the sentiment, the squirrel and the acorn.

The second of my three cards was inspired by the layout for a Christmas card I did last year.

I simply replaced the holly and Christmas print with the squirrel and the this pretty fall plaid.  The two colorful inks I used for the corner are both in the kit.  The brown ink is one that I already owned.

My third card uses the remains of the sheet of fall plaid that I used on the card above.  I often try to use a small remnant like this right away so that it doesn't get overlooked.  The banners are cut using a die from SSS "Bundle of Stitched Shapes" that I go to often.

I plan to enter at least one of these cards in the Wednesday challenge on the Simon Says Stamp Blog.
