My Monthly Hero Oct. 2019 / Motion Card

Today I am sharing my idea for creating a motion card using the My Monthly Hero Card Kit for October, 2019.  I have shared a YouTube video from my channel with a full tutorial below if you are interested in seeing how it was done.
I simply love these retro images and especially this wonderful vintage car.  I thought that it was begging to be in motion so I created a size #10 card to give it the space to move.

The Stamping Village Envelope Seals

When I ordered this set from The Stamping Village called "Holiday Seals" it was always my intention to make envelope seals for my Christmas cards with them.  Today I am sharing with you the end result of my project.
First, if you are not familiar with the Stamping Village sets they are a collaboration of companies coming together to support the hobby and community of creators.  In addition to that 100% of the profits from this set goes to "Dreaming Zebra Foundation" benefiting children and art education.  The companies contributing an image for this set include;  Altenew, Avery Elle, Art Impressions, Concord & 9th, Dare 2B Artzy, Hero Arts, Gina K Designs, Lawn Fawn, Pink and Main, Pink Fresh Studio, Studio Katia and Waffle Flower. This stamp set can be purchased through any of these companies.
I wanted to create my seals using Avery labels so that they would be flat on my envelope flap and not be a possible problem with the post office machinery when I put them in the mail.

This is the youtube tutorial I made to show you the whole process.

Thank you for dropping by my blog.  As always your comments, questions and suggestions are welcome.

This is the youtube link with the tutorial for creating this fun card.   My first attempt and a tutorial.  I hope you will give me a like on youtube  and leave me some comments and suggestions below.

Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Cards

Hello everyone!  It has been awhile ... my everyday life has been keeping me away from blogging.  I have been creating but just not getting them posted.  I am back today with 2 cards that I created using my new Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel dies and some of their whimsical stamps.  I am going to try to simplify my posts so that I will be able to post more often in the future.

This card uses the following:
Stamps:
Dies:
Coloring: All the coloring for this card including the background was done with Copic Markers.  I added some Glossy Accents for the face mask and bubbles.

My Second Card uses the following:
Coloring and Finishing:
I created the sofa by drawing it myself onto some Lawn Fawn Plaid Patterned Paper and cutting it out.  I used a matching Copic Marker to added a bit of shading.  The legs of the sofa are added with a black marker as well.
The background is Distress Oxides using a masking and blending technique.  "Tumbled Glass" and "Fossilized Amber"
The other images were colored using Copic markers.
